All over the world soccer is a very popular kind of sport, but regarding to the world soccer tournament in 2010 it has a special place in the hearts of South Africans. Playing soccer is ideal to keep fit and healthy and it is a good way of spending your free time. In the villages around Phalaborwa there are a lot of local initiatives for the youth to spend their free time on soccer.

These clubs are mainly managed by volunteers and they play an important role in crime prevention. Together with Fijnevent, a company in events management from the Netherlands, we supplied the ‘Impala Warriors’ with a whole new soccer uniform. The aim is to sponsor a variety of clubs in the local villages and to create our own soccer league.
